February 2012 Update: East and West Buck Street Dams on the Suncook River in Allenstown and Pembroke have been removed by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Dam Bureau. A historic plaque will be installed in spring 2012. The area around the dams will be re-seeded with grass and is now open to the public.
